it's me, my mum & uncle jackie flying.

here we arrived at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport.
uncle jackie departed us at the airport.
my mum & i took a cabbie to our hotel.

took a 'bikey tuk tuk' to Suan Lum Night Bazaar.

back to the hotel. had our dinner at the hotel cafe.
salmon looks yummy lehhhh....
showered. comfy bathrobe. chatting with my baby. ^-^

went to Jatujak Market!!! my 1st time there and i like the place.
it's the world's biggest weekend market yo!
leh long~
one of my wish to visit jatujak is to see those rabbits there.
and im so happy to see how cute they all really are! rabbits in dresses!!!
emo lebbit!! and this cute lebbit in dress. SO CUTE NA!!!!
too bad i cant take them home =(

my mum & i went for oil massage in the hotel.

we're checking out today and going to the airport to meet up our other friends who had just flown here this morning & then we're all going to Nong Khai together.
uncle jackie is gonna gather there too.
me, mummy, jackie, ricky, nick, bulldog, lauretta, sean, soon hoe. 9 of us.

gonna head down to Bangkok airport to meet up the rest of the group.

i spotted a half moon in the sky at 2pm!
here we arrived at...
Udon Thani International Airport.
sangwan came to fetch us.
Udon Thani -- Nong Khai.
just when we arrived at the forest in Nong Khai where Ajan's temple is,
i just snapped randomly. and saw this on my cam. O_O
so many orbs =\
ajan's baby monkey. he was almost killed but was saved by ajan.

ajan bought fireworks to light up the sky.

simple dinner prepared by the villagers.

KATHINA DAY.
Kathina is a Buddhist festival which comes at the end of Vassa, the three-month rainy season retreat for Theravada Buddhists. The season during which a monastery may hold a 'Kathina' festival is one month long, beginning after the full moon of the eleventh month in the Lunar calendar (usually October). In order to hold a 'Kathina', a monastery must have had five monks in residence during the retreat period and only those who were present for the entire retreat are eligible to receive the robe cloth offered.
It is a time of giving, for the laity to express gratitude to monks. Lay Buddhists bring donations to temples, especially new robes for the monks.

why am i talking about this suddenly?
i was at Udon Thani airport, walking. when suddenly, everyone who's sitting, stood up, everyone who's walking, stopped. they were all standing still. not moving.
i was shocked. wondering whats going on.
should i continue walking, or stop too?
if i walk i'll be the only one walking. =\
then i realised the TV is playing the National Anthem. wow.
if National Anthem is played on TV in Singapore, u think Singaporeans will be like how Thais respect the country? wait long long lo. lol.
this incident reminds me so much of the Grand Central Freeze. loL.

took tuk tuk to ajan's temple.
ajan letting the baby monkey meet the dogs.
distribute gifts for the novices.

ricky sleep sleep sleep =x
i regretted not buying that.

ajan brought us to this temple to meet another monk/abbot.
this is where i got all those terrible mozzie bites. =(

lyte brought out mr. san's laptop for me to use.
and even allowed me to borrow it back to the motel for 2 days.

i managed to witness this, which not many people can have the chance to.
i see the furthest side of the cloud really bright (daytime) while the clouds nearer to my side is dark (evening). i witness both daytime & evening time of the earth at the same time! half half yo! cool neh. =D
