hey everyone.
Rain is back from Thailand.
wonderful trip filled with sweet & bitter memories.
i even received missed calls and smses just when i touched down in Singapore.
wOot~ im not forgotten. my friends were waiting for my returning news. ^-^
hmm. i was supposed to blog out the long post today.
but u wouldn't believe what happened.
i had snapped more than 300 photos during my trip there.
this morning i ''cut'' all the photos from the camera & pasted into my thumbdrive.
i went to work, plugged it into the desktop....
".................... I/O device error ..............blah blah"
my heart 'stopped'. i hang in there. my mind went..... blank.
i grabbed my house keys and ran home. plugged back into my laptop.....
".................... I/O device error ..............blah blah"
the same error notice appeared.
my heart sank. it really did.
i burst out crying.
how careless andstupid i am. to 'cut' over the files instead of just 'copy'.
now my thumbdrive cannot be accessed.
all photos just vanished outta my sight.
all those wonderful snaps, beautiful scenery, memorable times, smiles & laughter, sweet & precious moments....... ALL GONE.
those are not photos easily captured and cannot be taken as and when i like. moreover, they are snapped outside Singapore, high up in the mountain, deep inside the caves, the beautiful forest nature, and being with my special someone on a tradition festival in Thailand.
i couldn't express the state i'm in now.
itz like... sudden..... LOST. EMPTINESS.
sugary photos taken with my honey, bringing back the loving moments & smiles in our heart, all taken back into memories.
just the memories itself is never as reviving as visualizing those joyous & warmly affectionate moments by gazing at a photo.
how sad eh? yea i am, very very sad. and disappointed with myself.
but i wont give up.
i've been searching around Singapore through the net,
seeking for help with data recovery.
it may take 2 days, a week or 2, it may cost me hundreds.
i will still keep seeking for help.
the precious photos are definitely worth the cost. (not unreasonably quoted of coz!)
i'll leave my Thailand trip blog post on the shelf 1st.
til my photos are successfully recovered.
i just received an unexpected call from my honey.
so happy. ^-^
