went to GV Yishun to watch The Forth Kind on my own.
THE FORTH KIND
In 1972, a scale of measurement was established for alien encounters. When a UFO is sighted, it is called an encounter of the first kind. When evidence is collected, it is known as an encounter of the second kind. When contact is made with extraterrestrials, it is the third kind. The next level, abduction, is the fourth kind. This encounter has been the most difficult to document-until now. Set in modern-day Nome, Alaska, where--mysteriously since the 1960s--a disproportionate number of the population has been reported missing every year. Despite multiple FBI investigations of the region, the truth has never been discovered. Here in this remote region, psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented.
seriously, this movie, freaks me out.
it really caused me to think extensively during and after the movie.
i had read about alien abductions before.
through online research, personal stories, alien encounters, and even
one of the special story in Russell Lee's TSGS (True Singapore Ghost Stories).
people who was abducted, they went missing, they were never found.
only a few returned, with no memories about what happened.
but some families witnessed the abduction of their loved ones.
many people wouldn't believe such unproven things tho.
til these days, aliens & UFO remain as a mystery.
nothing was 'proven'. even though evidences like these were recorded.
i had read about a news which happened many years ago, where an UFO-like thing crashed onto a land in Russia (or wherever, i forgot), and there was even a non-human corpse in there which people believed to be what they called, alien. but after that incident, nothing was mentioned. the case was closed just like that. is the insider people trying to cover the scary fact or something?
no one knows.
believe it or not, you decide.
[just like how some people believe in spirits & ghosts, and some dont.]
when i was reaching home,
i even asked my mum to come downstairs to wait for me.
im afraid i cant sleep tonight.
i need someone to talk to.
i need him to talk to me til i sleep. =(
