YAY~! Manchester United WON against Chelsea this morning.
They claimed the club's third European Cup with a penalty shoot-out 6-5 win.
i stopped my CZ game to watch the penalty shoot-out. REAL excitement.
i 'screamed' in silence when Edwin van der Sar saved Nicolas Anelka's shot.
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS~!!
GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED~!
for those freaks who claimed they can PREDICT that Man Utd will lose........

herez a video recorded for the penalty shoot-out i found in youtube.
*stop/pause my blog song before u play the video
anyway, for Man United fans out there......
have u guys heard about the plane crash back in 1958 with Manchester United football team on board the plane?
that was a really terrifying sad news.
it was the well known "Munich air disaster" which took place on 6 Feb 1958.
they were heading back to Manchester Airport.
"British European Airways Flight 609 crashed on its third attempt to take off from a slush-covered runway at the Munich-Riem airport in Munich, West Germany. On board the plane was the Manchester United football team, nicknamed the "Busby Babes", along with a number of supporters and journalists. 23 of the 44 passengers on board the aircraft died in the disaster." - Wikipedia
one of the legendary survivors is Sir Bobby Charlton.
who is now one of the Directors of Manchester United football club.
during the crash he was saved by United goalkeeper Harry Gregg (who had somehow got through a hole in the plane unscathed and begun a one-man rescue mission).
The crash claimed the lives of......
8 Man United players
Roger Bryne (Club captain), Mark Jones, Billy Whelan, Eddie Colman, Geoff Bent and Duncan Edwards (died a fortnight later from the injuries he had sustained).
3 Man United staffs
Walter Crickmer (club secretary), Bert Whalley (chief coach) and Tom Curry (trainer).
8 Journalists (3 of them are Manchester United's journalists)
and 4 other crew members & passengers.
A plaque at Old Trafford Football Ground in memory of the Munich air disaster.
Survivors Johnny Berry and Jackie Blanchflower were both injured so severely that they never played again.
United only won one league game after the crash, causing their title challenge to collapse and push them down to ninth place in the league.
How sad eh? Can u imagine? the whole football team, left with less than half of the first team players after the crash.
Manchester United was then slowly rebuilt.
and they eventually built a second generation of Busby Babes, including George Best and Denis Law, that ten years later won the European Cup in 1968, beating Benfica. Crash survivors Bobby Charlton and Bill Foulkes were two of the other players who lined up in that team.
=) alright. that was just a legendary story behind Manchester United which i think is a MUST-KNOW for all Manchester United fans.
and anyway, i didnt know Ole Gunnar Solskjær has retired
and is now the coach of first team strikers.
2008-09 season, he will take charge of the reserve team for Man United.
wOot~ proded. =D
and this....... will be my DREAM destination.
